Tile Maker
A module specially designed for the stone & ceramic cutting industry. Getting the most out of your tiles and stone slabs with pattern matching, specialised nesting functions and tailor made CAM features.
Pattern match your kitchen tops
Pattern matching opens up ways for you to match the veins of any stone or ceramic slab to your design. Be it a kitchen top or a compass rose in the floor, we have the tools for the job. Either match the pattern by click ‘n drag or with the help of our famous Auto Nest.
The nesting can allow you to puzzle more parts onto the sheet making those expensive slabs more utilised.
Common cut toolpaths
To elevate your machine even further you can cut two edges with the same cut by using IGEMS Common cutline. It dramatically reduces your cost by 50% on any edge you apply the common toolpath to which mates with another edge.
Seamless fit with rounded corners
To make a perfect fit between two pieces, you need the software to adapt the design ever so slightly. Otherwise a sharp outside corner of a piece will not mate with its counterpart which has an inside radius of at least the tool radius. IGEMS handles this with ease by calculating the angles on each part and adapt the design so you don’t need to process sharp corners once the pieces has been cut. Pretty clever if you ask us.
Inlays with powerful nesting
When designs get more intricate, like a beautiful marble floor with flowers and decorations, you need a tool like Inlay. It helps you map up all your pieces and assigns an id to each and everyone of them. You can also assign different textures to each piece and Inlay will automatically create a powerful nest for each texture.
Tiles on repeat
When cutting a design from tiles, the name of the game is efficiency and control. You need a good way of knowing what piece you’re cutting and make sure as little material as possible goes to waste.
With this in mind, we’ve developed Tiles and Tile Cut. Two commands that creates beautiful tile patterns and efficient toolpathing on tiles with nested parts.
SVG import
Importing SVG files with multiple colors is a great way to get your art to part in a fast way. We support many types of SVG entities just make sure multiple segments of the design is not overlapping each other.
