Line2d.Param (Point2d, out Double) Method

Computes the parameter in the range 0-1 where the projection of a given point resides on the line segment. If the parameter is less than 0 or larger than 1 the point lies 'before' or 'after' the line. A tangent angle at the point is computed as well (which in this case is same as lines angle)

Parameters

pnt
Point2d

The point to compute for.

tangent
double

The tangent angle at the projected point (which in this case is same as lines angle).
